Amy Bradshaw started her career with the ANZ Bank working within a project team in its Institutional Banking division. She was responsible for supporting clients with the use of their banking platform and streamlining capabilities.
Amy worked for 6 years with a licensed general insurance company operating in Australia and New Zealand in their Legal and Compliance department. In this role, she dealt with a wide range of legal and compliance matters relating to the AFS Licence including internal and external audits, dispute resolution processes, developing and maintaining compliance policies, monitoring and supervision of representatives, client remediation and reporting to the Compliance and Risk committee. This role required communicating and dealing with a number of regulators including ASIC, APRA, ACCC and the RBNZ.
At Know Compliance, Amy has assisted in the preparation of applications for new AFS licences and variations of AFS licences. She has reviewed clients’ Compliance Plans and Compliance Manuals and delivered compliance and risk management training to clients. She has assisted with a client that was required by ASIC to engage an External Compliance Consultant to improve its compliance. Amy also prepares reports on regulatory changes impacting the financial services industry.
Amy is currently studying a Juris Doctor part-time at Monash University with expected completion date in 2020.
